Hello lovely,
As I reflect on this past year, it's been a journey filled with twists and turns, moments of uncertainty, and deep introspection. I've discovered that amidst the challenges, there's a valuable lesson I'd like to share with you - the art of not catastrophizing.
In times of discomfort, confusion, and intensity, my natural inclination was to catastrophize, to let the mind run wild with worst-case scenarios. But I've been actively refining a new skill - the ability to lean into the discomfort without spiraling into panic or self-doubt.
This shift in mindset has been incredibly supportive. Instead of frantically searching for immediate solutions or beating myself up for not having all the answers, I've learned to simply be with the experience. To sit in the discomfort without the need to fix it or prove it wrong.
It's not an easy practice, I'll admit. But it's brought a sense of spaciousness, trust, and groundedness that I hadn't experienced before. I've come to trust myself more, to trust the journey, and to trust that I have the resilience and capability to face whatever comes my way.
So, if you find yourself in a similar space of discomfort, uncertainty, or overwhelm, know that I'm right there beside you. We're on this journey together, navigating the highs and lows, and I'm sending you a wave of love and support.
If you're interested in exploring these ideas further or could use some guidance in navigating your own challenges, feel free to reach out.
